Services

What we do

Eight service areas covering the whole building, inside and out. Delivered under framework, measured term contract, Schedule of Rates or direct instruction.

Cutaway illustration of a house showing R&D Group operatives at work throughout: re-tiling the roof from a scaffold, insulating the loft, treating damp and mould in a bathroom, fitting a kitchen, testing a consumer unit, rendering an external wall, and a supervisor talking a resident through the works in her living room.

How the work is delivered

Some of these services are carried out by our own directly employed teams; others are delivered through approved specialist subcontractors working to our procedures and under our supervision. We'll confirm which applies to your scope before you appoint us — and it will be set out in the quotation.

Estimating

How we price

We run a documented estimating procedure so quotations are consistent, auditable and comparable — whoever prices them and whenever you ask.

Consistent pricingThe same rates and the same method applied across enquiries, rather than a number arrived at on the day.
Transparent quotationsScope, exclusions and assumptions stated, so you can see what's in and what isn't.
Schedule of RatesWhere you procure on SOR, we price against your schedule and can evidence the build-up.
VariationsAgreed and documented before the work is carried out, not presented at the end.
AuditabilityPricing decisions recorded, so a quotation can be checked back months later.
